Davis & Towle Insurance Group, headquartered in Concord, NH with 13 locations across the state, is pleased to announce their recent acquisition of Tobey & Merrill Insurance in Hampton. While the agency will operate under Davis & Towle’s ownership, the trusted Tobey & Merrill name remains, as does its staff. In addition, Davis & Towle will merge D.B Warlick & Co, currently in North Hampton, with Tobey & Merrill.
Like other Davis & Towle Group agencies, Tobey & Merrill will continue to provide the same exceptional service they’ve offered their clients since 1920, but now backed by Davis & Towle’s vast network of coverage options and expanded team collaboration. A significant step forward in an ongoing evolution to better serve their clients.

With this acquisition, Davis & Towle has also announced the merger of a fellow seacoast agency, D.B Warlick & Co, with Tobey & Merrill. Davis & Towle acquired D.B Warlick in 2024. Since then, they have continued to provide the same friendly, local, personal service they always have, while enjoying Davis & Towle’s broader network of coverage options for their clients.
As a result of the merger, effective May 27, the D.B Warlick & Co name will sunset as they assume the Tobey & Merrill Insurance Agency name and move to a new location just a short drive from North Hampton. As of May 27, D.B Warlick & Co clients can find their same knowledgeable agents and staff at Tobey & Merrill Insurance Agency located at 20 High Street in Hampton.
